Waterfalls

Flowing water. Why for so many people is flowing water such a powerful thing. I include myself in that category. Flowing water, especially waterfalls, captivates me. It has become a “thing” with me that when I travel, I always find the best waterfalls near the place I am going. It really started when I travelled through Iceland and it seemed like every few miles there was another falls just off the road. Since then, if you were to look at my photos you would see an abundance of flowing water. So why? Is it the sound of the water as it runs over the edge? Is it the sight of the seeming endless supply of water streaming by? I really don’t know, I just know that seeing waterfalls always seems to put me in a positive and peaceful frame of mind. Perhaps one day I will end up in a place like in the movie Up and have a home that overlooks a beautiful waterfall!
